Product Information

This box set brings into a single package two Mexican comedies and two Mexican dramas, produced between 1956 and 1959. The first film in the set, 1973's drama LÁGRIMAS DE MI BARRIO, stars Cornelio Reyna as Francisco, a widower torn between his desire to follow his dream-woman, and his need to be an outstanding father to his children. The second picture in the set, 1956's farce VIVIDOR, stars the Mexican comedian Tin Tan as Atilano a ne'er-do-well with get-rich-quick dreams who tries to score big at the race track, but instead gets involved with a young woman named Anita and her godmother Victoria. The third picture, 1973's LOS CACHORROS, is an erotic drama about a man whose limbs were torn off by a Great Dane; his sex drive remains overpowering, however, and he grows so desperate to consummate that he takes extreme action. Finally, 1959's comedy mystery UNA SEŃORA MOVIDA stars Lorena Velázquez as Mercedes, a woman whose relatives get together to cover up a murder, and learn that they are all heirs to a massive fortune.
