Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is the fifth installment of the popular series, and the first Ratchet and Clank PSP game. The basic storyline involves the pair going on holiday before they are asked to help rescue a kidnapped girl called Luna. Their hunt leads them to a forgotten race called the Technomites and their leader, Emperor Otto Destruct. Much like the previous games, players can play as Ratchet to access a large weapons arsenal and engage in space combat, or find hidden areas and modern takes on traditional games such as Lemmings by playing as sidekick Clank. The Ratchet and Clank PSP game was awarded 9/10 in a review from IGN, and was awarded "Handheld of the Month" on release. While the game will be loved by series fans, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters will also appeal to new gamers with its upbeat humor, engaging plot and strong voice acting. It's artistically and technically impressive, with the Ratchet and Clank Sony PSP game really showing off the console's graphical abilities and strong processor. There is hardly ever a drop in frame rate, and loading times are fast. There is plenty of playability, too, with a strong single player which can be played over and over again, and a Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters multiplayer server that allows you to team up with (or against) other players to win more points, currency or weapons. Time trial lovers will enjoy the ability to replay big battles and even boss battles to get a better time, and better unlocks, and treasure hunters will love collecting the 25 skill points and four sets of armor which are scattered throughout the game. The Ratchet and Clank Sony PSP game is sure to be a hit with gamers everywhere.
