Based on Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Chronicles is a role-playing game designed for the Nintendo DS. Essentially, Sonic Chronicles for Nintendo DS is a two-part game. In the first part of this Sonic game, the player is sent on a quest to solve Knuckles' kidnapping and the mysterious theft of the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic and his pals then move on across two separate dimensions, finding a new friend along the way. The player must help to defeat this new ally’s world from being invaded. Sonic Chronicles for Nintendo DS is the first RPG Sonic game, taking the player through twenty different levels. Players of Sonic Chronicles earn Rings to buy new weapons as they make their way through the new and classic hand-drawn Sonic game levels. And the gamer doesn’t have to play alone; Sonic Chronicles is set up for individual play or team play, allowing the players to embark on adventures in this RPG Sonic game together.
