Originally designed for BBC studio use, the Rogers LS5/8 stereo speakers deliver an amazing and clear sound. These Rogers speakers were intended to balance pop music at high volume levels while delivering a clean sound. The frequency response of the Rogers LS5/8 is 50 Hz to 16 kHz with a 92 dB sensitivity. The powerful bass does not require a sub-woofer, and at the same time, it is not too forward, creating a very transparent sound. The soundstage that these stereo speakers create is very detailed and natural with each instrument and vocal having plenty of space. Being that the Rogers speakers were originally intended for studio work, they also perform powerfully at high volumes, maintaining the depth and openness of sound. They may be too large for small rooms, but in larger environments, these Rogers speakers perform beautifully. They measure 45.7 cm by 39.7 cm by 76.2 cm (18 inches by 15.6 inches by 30 inches) and weigh 31 kg each (68.3 lbs).
