Walt Disney's first animated film is the subject for this Game Boy Color game, an adventure divided into seven chapters. The goal for each level is to collect a certain number of objects, such as apples or roses. A mini-game will then appear before players can advance to the next chapter. All eight mini-games found in the Storybook mode are playable by themselves from an area called the Playground. <br><br>Mini-games are divided into puzzles and arcade-style events. Puzzles include a traditional sliding block puzzle, a Simon-like game of melody matching, a game of Memory, and a game where players arrange falling items to create vertical matches. Arcade-style events include navigating through a maze, catching falling plates, shooting vultures, and running through a side-scrolling level as a deer while avoiding obstacles. <br><br>Two difficulty settings alter the control and the number of objects to collect. On the easy setting, players only have to move Snow White left or right to automatically pick up items. The challenge mode involves jumping and collecting objects using the two buttons. Mini-games are also more involved on the higher setting. "Dwarf Memory," for example, expands the card deck from 8 to 16.
