The first disc of this two-disc set features the 20th anniversary edition in a widescreen DVD format with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and 120 minutes run time. This disc also features an introductory segment by Steven Spielberg, full-length audio of John Williams performing the score live at the 2002 premiere, and planetary facts with commentary. The second disc has the original theatrical edition of "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" in an anamorphic widescreen DVD format with 115 minutes run time and an aspect ratio of 1.85:1.
