Tested as far as I could with no cassette. All functions appear to work as expected. No tape to fully test recorder. No battery but comes with ac adapter to be able to use. Recorder has minimal signs of wear consistent with minimal use, age and normal storage. No visible scratches on screen, screen appears to work/function as it should. Please review all pictures for overall condition and don't hesitate to ask any questions.
