Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) is a Private Investigator who works as part of a security team in the palatial mansion of millionaire businessman Robin Masters. Using his luxurious surroundings as his base, Magnum runs a daily battle with various criminals as he seeks to track them down and report their illicit activities. However, he also faces a constant battle with the caretaker of Masters' estate, Jonathan Higgins (John Hillerman), particularly when Magnum zooms off in the 308 GTS Ferrari that has been left at his disposal!
