Other gameplay features included in this version of Sims 2 is the countryside neighborhood of Riverblossom Hills, which includes its own ice skating rink, and Plant Sims, a new variety of life that comes with their own needs of water, sunlight and love. As you might expect, Plant Sims are particularly skilled at gardening, plus they have the added ability of talking to plants, which can increase your garden’s health and harvest. Plant Sims can even have their own children that inherit the skills of their parents. This expansion pack also includes two new radio stations, the new penguin NPC, new meals, and also a necessary addition, the Weather Channel. Gardening is another important new feature of Sims 2: Seasons. You can tend to your garden throughout the summer and harvest your crops in fall. Maintain a clean garden to join the gardening club for tips and discounts on seeds and other items. Try and get a high rating from the gardening club for a special prize. See how productive your garden can become and even make juice out of the fruit you have grown. Of course, there is much more to your Sim’s life than just gardening and enjoying the fruits of your labors. Just like with other games in the Sims series, there is plenty of other stuff for your Sim to do, such as building a home, creating relationships with others and even starting a family. Sims can also follow a variety of career paths, six of which are new additions to Sims 2: Seasons and include gaming, journalism, education and music, along with new lifetime wants corresponding to these career choices.
