After a run-in with criminals turns successful teenage sleuth Jimmy Kudo into a seven-year-old, he begins to solve crimes secretly as a young boy named Conan Edogawa. The name "Conan" references Jimmy's favorite detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his inventor, Arthur Conan Doyle.
