Two episodes of the 13-part American horror series, featuring stand-alone stories written and directed by some of the biggest names in world horror. Directed by John Carpenter, 'Cigarette Burns' follows a man trying to track down a rare print of a foreign film that is rumoured to drive its audience mad, before igniting and setting fire to the theatre. When he finally tracks it down, he discovers that all of the rumours are true. 'Dreams in the Witch House' is based on the short story by legendary writer H.P. Lovecraft, and follows a young college student (Ezra Godden) who rents a loft apartment in the New England town of Arkham. Before long his studies are derailed by horrific visions of a 17th-century witch and her hideous familiar, a rat with a human face.

Two features. In 'Cigarette Burns', a wannabe film producer named Kirby Sweetman obsesses over a lost cinematic treasure. The film called 'Le Fin Absolue Du Monde' was supposedly only screened one time because its premiere turned the movie theatre into a madhouse of killing and violence. As Kirby goes to great lengths to track down this notorious film, he starts to have hallucinations of dangerous proportions. Will the rumours surrounding the film destroy him, or will he find it in time to use it as a weapon? Also includes 'Dream In The Witch House'.
