A documentary hosted by Mark Taylor, a prominent political commentator and radio veteran, BURIED IN THE SAND presents graphic footage of Iraq under Saddam Hussein to posit that the Iraq intervention was necessary and inevitable. Concentrating on the exploits of Islamic extremists, the Abu Graib scandals, and life under Saddam's rule, the film adopts the position that the US acted out of moral obligation, and is explicitly a direct counter to the messages put forth by Michael Moore in his well-known documentary FARENHEIT 9/11.
