Product Information

“Balto” is an animated historical drama based on the true life story of a wolf-dog hybrid who saved children from a diphtheria outbreak in Nome, Alaska in 1925. In the movie, Balto is an outcast and lives on the outskirts of town because he is not accepted by the community over being half-dog and half-wolf. One evening, the children in town start getting very ill. It's a brutal winter and they need a way to get the vaccine for the children. The story follows his adventure to be accepted and win the hearts of the townspeople. Voices of the characters are by well-known actors including Kevin Bacon and Bridget Fonda. Rated G, this is a heartwarming movie for the entire family.
