Spongebob Squarepants: The Yellow Avenger for Sony PSP is a 2006 released platform game based on the popular cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants. The game was developed by THQ and is the first release of a Spongebob game for the Sony PSP. This Spongebob on PSP is a colourful, comical release that takes the player into the fictional world of Bikini Bottom, where players become Spongebob Yellow Avenger to defeat a number of quirky enemies, such as Dirty Bubble and the Jumbo Shrimp. Spongebob Yellow Avenger has both single player and multiplayer modes that allow players to defeat foes by using a variety of objects, jumps and power-up moves. While Spongebob Yellow Avenger has been previously released on other consoles, it's the first time users can play Spongebob on PSP. The game is rated E for Everyone and features a number of child-friendly action related elements that will entertain fans of the television series and avid gamers alike. This Spongebob game, Spongebob Yellow Avenger, is similar to the show in tone, complete with trademark catchphrases and theme songs that fans will easily recognise and enjoy.
