Based on the popular arcade game of the previous year, NBA Jam is a two-on-two basketball game featuring all of the 27 NBA teams competing in 1994. Not only are the teams there, but so are many of the real players. You and up to three of your friends (with a 4-player adaptor) can be Olajuwon as the Rockets, Pippen as the Bulls, Ewing as the Knicks, Mourning as the Hornets, and so on (though some superstars, like Shaq and Jordan, are excluded for contractual reasons.<br><br>The players -- already extraordinary athletes in real life -- are given super-human abilities, depending on a their abilities in certain areas (dunking, shooting, etc.). A player can deliver spectacular dunks or sink many consecutive three-pointers if he has the stats for it. If a single player sinks three in a row, he's "on fire," and the other team must score a basket in order to cool him down. NBA Jam is your opportunity to play "fantasy basketball."Product Identifiers
