This figure is exceptionally powerful from the start and can make a significant difference in your fight against the forces of evil throughout Skyland. Spotlight not only uses the light element but can harness it in ways that other Skylanders characters cannot. Paired with an appropriate trap, this guardian can snare trappable Trap Team villains. While this figure is compatible with Skylanders games on any system, it has features specific to the Skylanders Superchargers game. It is also compatible with games released prior to Trap Team and after Superchargers. Spotlight's origin story explains why she is such a powerful figure. Master Eon discovered her while exploring the Prismatic Palace. He was in search of the Crystal Orb in hopes of gaining an upper hand in the fight against darkness. When he found the Orb, he infused it with his own magic. That created a massive and spectacular emanation. When the light faded away, Spotlight stood before him. Although she is a legendary master of luminosity, she is unused to Skyland and unprepared for the battle for Skyland. Her training with Master Eon began at the Core. However, her true evolution into a supreme Skylanders guardian begins when the player takes the reins and guides her along her true path. Spotlight’s base stats are 70 strength, 120 defense, 60 agility, and 130 luck. Out of the box, this figure begins with 270 health, 60 speed, 36 armor, 20 critical hit, and 35 elemental power. As your progress through Skylanders Trap Team, Superchargers, and other Skylanders games, you will increase these stats. At maximum level, this avatar can have 540 health, 108 speed, 66 armor, 70 critical hit, and 85 elemental power. This figure also brings in-game abilities that are usable across all Skylanders video games. Spotlight's primary ability, Eye Beams, delivers a concentrated ray of light to defeat her enemies. Halo Rings is a secondary ability that does area-of-effect damage and synergizes with Eye Beams. The Soul Gem ability for this figure is Light Dragons, which summons minions to fight at your side. As this character gains experience, you will be able to purchase ability upgrades from Persephone or directly from Power Pods. Bright Eyes increases Eye Beams damage, while Heavenly Aura provides an additional AoE attack. The Halo Effect adds a slowing component to Halo Rings, and Hello Halos allows for additional concurrent rings. Spotlight also has access to a singular upgrade path, Visionary, which unlocks three high-level abilities. Aura Charge adds Eye Beams to all Heavenly Aura attacks. Light It Up further enhance the damage from Eye Beams, and Bling shoots two Halo Rings at once.
