It works beautifully alongside drum machines and electronic keyboards to preserve each instrument's organic tone. Delivering over 1,000 unique instruments and 78 built-in effects, it also compiles many of Roland's signature patches into its 128-voice polyphony to help users create a personalized touch. The Sonic Cell is powered by a DC 9V adapter, and it features a microphone, guitar, and line input. It supports phantom power microphones as well as USB and MIDI for transferring files to Mac and PC. Additionally, with WAV, AIFF, and MP3 audio formats, the Sonic Cell allows live musicians to perform over previously recorded instrumentals.
