In addition to being compatible with a 5.1 Dolby digital capable PC soundcard, the Z-640 speakers include an adapter. To do so, simply press the matrix button located on the front of the unit. The connectivity feature is ideal for any video gaming unit, including PlayStation, Nintendo, GameCube, and Xbox.Whether you are creating music, producing mixes, or simply listening to your favorite tunes on your PC or mobile phone, the Logitech Z-640 Speakers are a music aficionado's dream. Even when played at maximum volume, the adjustment knob on the back of the subwoofer ensures minimum distortion. The default settings are easily adjusted to create a customized listening experience for each user. The headphone jack that is located on the front of the center channel allows for private listening without disturbing others in the room. Those who own devices that feature a sound card with a single stereo output can create a surround-sound home theater experience with this stand-alone device. The Logitech Matrix feature that channels both the atmospheric and ambient sound to the rear satellites of the speaker is all that you need. A simple push of a button will get you started. The controls for the unit are positioned toward the center of the channel speaker and include a volume, power, fader, center, and matrix feature.
