Sin embargo, el destino tiene otros planes para ella, y la convierte en una pieza importante para los acuerdos de paz entre naciones y el motivo que usará Magnus Lacrontte, su antiguo enemigo, para manipular al rey de Mishnock. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION Las cadenas del rey (The King's Chains) is the second part of the King Saga, which comes after the overwhelming success of El perfume del rey (The King's Perfume), which has sold more than 20,000 copies in Latin America. In this book we follow the story of Emily Malhore that ended in the lead in the previous volume. If before the protagonist was a naïve girl who was discovering the power wars between the members of the monarchy, as well as the injustices of the world and the limits to which her trusted people can go, now we will meet a very different Emily. The book begins where the previous one ends: Emily captivates in the palace of Stefan Denavritz, her former boyfriend and new monarch of Mishnock, and with a plan to regain her freedom. However, fate has other plans for her, and makes her an important piece for the peace agreements between nations and the motive that Magnus Lacrontte, her former enemy, will use to manipulate the king of Mishnock. What neither Emily nor Magnus know is that the game in which they are involved, each for different reasons, will lead them to enter a very powerful sexual discovery with surprising results for both. The King's Chains has beautiful illustrations by Álvaro Cardozo , a Colombian illustrator.

Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe
