It is in new condition, but the original packing for this cover had previously been opened and was taped shut. Unfortunately, it is the wrong size and doesn't fit the Kindle I have. I then requested to return the item for a refund since I had to order a cover from Amazon that is the correct size. The return process was started immediately and was easy to follow.
