John Hoerr's account of these events stretches from the industrywide barganing failures of 1982 to the crippling work stoppage at USX (U.S. Steel) in 1986-87. He interviewed scores of steelworkers, company managers at all levels, and union officials, and was present at many of the crucial events he describes. Using historical flashbacks to the origins of the steel industry, particularly in the Monongahela Valley of southwestern Pennsylvania, he shows how an obsolete and adversarial relationship between management and labor made it impossible for the industry to adapt to shattering changes in the global economy., A veteran reporter on American labor, John P. The listing title indicated that there were 8 mini cups & saucers, this is what i thought i purchased. Only in re-reading the listing after the delivery of the pieces, did i see they were counting each cup & each saucer individually totaling 8 pcs. When i communicated this to the seller his response was an apology & to be clearer in the future. This did not make me happy nor did it make whole. In the long run, this is not the way a professional business should be run

Exact wording from my listing:"Four (4) Mini Cups and Four (4) matching saucers, for a TOTAL of EIGHT (8) pieces". The photos, and description, all can be seen as they were, no trickery. I do expect my buyers to read the details and view the images that match said details before purchase, rather than assume. I'd also note, if clarification or any question needs to be asked, I'm responsive to all -- but the buyer did not ask a single question until after delivery.
