Similar items on Ebay did not have near the >$50 shipping costs. Most had ~$25 dollars or free shipping. Considering we are in UPS Zone 8 arriving from Zone 8. The item was safely double boxed adding security and weight. Plus the extra length of the boxes added to the cost.
