It looks like it had been through heavy off road use. I reached out for compensation. They said, you can start a return. That's it! Not we are sorry or apologize for sending out a part unboxed, and scratched all over and through the paint. Find a more reputable seller. The item was packaged like it was fragile. It was definitely a new part, and it Came in padded delivery envelope, and was wrapped in foam in an OEM Ford Parts envelope. It came two days before promised delivery date, and the price was very fair. Fit's just like the original, and may be an improved or upgraded piece, since the numbers were not an exact match, but the fit was perfect and the appearance is identical.
