Digitally remastered 2 classic albums on a single CD. 25 tracks (including previously unreleased bonus cuts), from 2 very significant landmarks in The Sir Douglas Quintet catalog. "1+1+1=4" and "The Return of Doug Saldana" were simply two of Sahm's best, where his musical vision and genius shine brightly. He incorporated many musical styles into the mix and pushed the band further than they had gone before, incorporating Texas swing, country, R&B, Cajun and jazz styles. He pioneered the roots rock sound that we know in the new century and predated it by a few decades. These albums completed his contract for Mercury Records and have been sought by collectors now for years! They mark a developmental and highly creative period in Sahm's musical legacy. Includes deluxe booklet and detailed liner notes and over 78 minutes of music.
