The common bathroom is a distance from my office, so for a quick handwash I was seeking a classic pitcher and washbasin. A deep basin was preferred to reduce splash potential and a sizeable pitcher for less frequent trips to keep it filled; this has both. Plus, they're very sturdy and hefty so they won't easily get knocked over. Love the stoneware look.
