The South Korean mini-series MY LOVE PATZZI subverts the classic Cinderella story with a zany, teen-oriented comedy of female rivalry. The modern-day cat fight revolves around teenagers Hee-won (Eun-hee Hong), a pretty girl whose sunny facade masks the ugly soul of a malicious schemer, and Song-yi (Na-ra Jang), an unpopular plain Jane whose gruff exterior conceals a heart of gold. Both girls are employed at the same amusement park, where they find themselves competing for the affections of the wealthy owner's handsome son, Seung-joon (Jae-won Kim), who seems to prefer the beautiful Hee-won. But when Song-yi anonymously saves Seung-joon from a tragic accident, the Prince Charming sets out to find his mysterious benefactress in a Cinderella-like romp of mistaken identity (sans pumpkin and glass slipper). The breezy pop confection of a mini-series is presented in its entirety with this collection of 10 episodes.
