The packing paper stuck to it like it was spray painted and then immediately put into the box. I was going to pass this off as a minor visual defect of having a refurbished alternator. I installed the alternator according to my service manual and started my car. The alternator bearing is totally busted making a high pitch squeal and the alternator doesn't charge or supply power.
