Enjoy the peace of mind provided by the keystroke tones and keypad lock, which ensure that only what you want to broadcast goes onto the radio waves. Water resistant and compact, these two-way GMRS radios come with detachable belt clips and fit in the palm of your hand, making it easy to communicate in various weather and outdoor conditions. The dimensions for these two-way radios measure 2.01 inches by 5.53 inches by 1.21 inches. These radios have the longest range of communication in open places that have little to no obstruction. The channel scan on the Midland LXT118 two-way device is designed to automatically check the channels for any activity. The auto-squelch feature helps to remove any excess background noise or feedback while you're communicating with the party on the other radio. These two-way radios are designed to operate across 22 frs/gmrs channels. The Midland GMRS two-way radio is also available as a part of value pack that includes all the important accessories. Some of the accessories that work with the pair of radios include rechargeable batteries and a charger. In a pinch, three standard AAA batteries can also power the LXT118. The device features a battery meter and low battery alert so that you know when it's time to recharge. This pair of radios also comes equipped with jacks for a mic and headphones.
