A brutal serial killer is on the loose and is killing off cops left and right in extremely grizzly ways. Enter Neon Fire, a brash and plucky young vigilante whose heart is as big as the moon and is double tough. She's been trying to clean up the city streets for years on her own but it is a losing effort.Growing up Neon Fire admired a local legend costumed superhero called The Apparition. On a fateful night out on patrol she encounters another vigilante who she believes may be The Apparition. To her surprise there is way more than meets the eye with this fellow crime fighter whose past, she soon discovers, is wrought with tragedy and triumph, love and heartbreak.Over time will the two become kindred spirits, or will they succumb to the wills of the monstrous "Son of Death"?Told from the point of view of many different characters, "A Dream of Neon Fire" is a hero story unlike any other.
