It is as described and I am happy with my purchase, representing reasonable value. I understand these tokens were largely used for advertising, but may have had some monetary value against further purchases from the company. There is no indication of date on the token, to indicate the year of issue, and I would be interested to know if the seller may know.

Only criticism is that packaging was not very robust. Used old Amazon box (this was an oversized book) which had been semi crushed by delivery and no bubble wrap (there was a bit of internal packing paper but not enough). In the end, no damage caused but this was more to do with weight of book preventing movement than packaging. But as said, no actual damage and book as described ie in very good condition.Modern Painters By John Ruskin Edited and Abridged By David Barrie 2000 (#405905387876)
