Synopsis
An unapologetic guide to the first year of motherhood, Enough About the Baby is a newborn book for women who recognise the necessity of self-care -- even if sometimes the rest of the world does not. Superheroes don't have babies; real and imperfect non-superhumans do. When we come to terms with this, the result is a happier and less traumatising start to motherhood. Becky Vieira, the mom behind the popular Instagram account @wittyotter, provides actionable advice for new parents on what to expect after pregnancy and how to successfully navigate the frustrations and challenges that come with having a baby. Vieira draws on her own experiences and interviews with moms and experts to get to the bottom of the toughest and most taboo topics--from managing nosey in-laws and an anxious partner to surviving the first postpartum poop and when to seek out treatment for postpartum depression. This book is filled with hacks, tips, and tricks that only the most seasoned--and enlightened--mom knows. (Ever hear of a condsicle, an ergonomic ice pack for a battered nether region?) Vieira reminds readers that motherhood shouldn't be martyrdom, and a new mom who puts her needs first often isn't selfish at all. With its combination of practical advice and the signature humour that made Vieira a hit on Instagram, Enough About the Baby makes a perfect baby shower gift for first time moms., Enough already with all those guides solely focused on caring for a screaming, crying, pooping infant! New moms deserve better. Writer Becky Vieira wants to help them unapologetically prioritize self-care, create healthy boundaries, and stay sane in our newborn-obsessed culture. Drawing on her own experiences as well as interviews with both moms and experts, she get to the bottom of the toughest and most taboo topics-including how to manage nosy in-laws and an anxious partner, survive the first postpartum poop, soothe a battered nether region, and seek out treatment for depression. Enough About the Baby is filled with hacks, tips, tricks, and to-do lists that could only come from the most seasoned-and enlightened-mom., An unapologetic guide to the first year of motherhood, Enough About the Baby is a newborn book for women who recognize the necessity of self-care--even if sometimes the rest of the world does not. The listing was for a hardcover version of this book; however, I received a paperback. The Seller replied quickly to my question about this issue and issued a full refund - and let me keep the book. So, a diligent Seller for sure - and well packaged and reasonable timing on shipping. Thank you for the refund, and as you suggested, I'll likely donate this volume and seek the hardcover.

Great transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. Thanks, Joe

Excellent purchase. Was able to get all three items from the one seller. Seller was able to bundle all three items together into one package. Items as described and arrived in perfect condition. Good communication around shipping and tracking as items delayed and not able to be delivered by original estimate. Thanks to shipping updates I was able to track the items arriving before the extended delivery time. Thank you for making these items available on EBay.
