While this item looked nice and I was impressed how it looked, the impression ended there. I bought this to hold relatively light knives so they would not be in the knife drawer. Not really heavy at all. They keep sliding slowly down and off over time. So if your items have much more weight than a light pair of Scissor or paring knives may want to look elsewhere based on my experience
