I only had one issue where they had machined down the ends, the step made it so my ratcheting wrenches would not go over the head of the bolt, as the wrench is too big. If the machined section went further out it would work. I ended up using 1/4 wobbly socket to get the bolts tight. I also attached a picture of the failed gasket on the original plate. Everything else was good, and it is not leaking anymore.
