Otherwise, I would not be able to connect the top plate to it. Once fixed the 2 fallen screws, I was able to get everything setup O.K.. the speaker stands turned out to be a present one to have. Thank you.

Finally seller advised they had no control of inventory of small parts that come in their items, and I would have to repack and ship back a 50 lb item and receive a refund then I could repurchase. I modified it and made the item work for me. I think I would buy elsewhere but item is A+
