They simply alternate bright and dim, and then only on the highest power. At the highest power they shine through a large section of the bodies. Only the black colored vehicle can be used as advertised. Might I suggest this store change their name from "wehonest." They can be used for parking lights, perhaps. Also, the lights shine through holes drilled where headlights and tail lights would appear. Overall, a good deal, for the price.
