Reviews...the high point of this volume, is the overall appeal of the subject matter, combined with numerous interesting facts about the campaigns in the Pacific, all packaged in a smooth, attractive presentation., It all makes for a superb reference book for the modeler and enthusiast and well worth the price of admission., While I would acquire this book for the gallery of images alone, the research presented by the text is illuminating and fascinating. I am thrilled that the author chose the P-40 for a Pacific Profiles volume and enthusiastically recommend it., ...an exquisitely illustrated and well-researched history of the P-40 Warhawk in the Southern Hemisphere., As are the photographs, the illustrations are a treasure trove for modelers. While the academic and technical research is the brain of this book, perhaps the most impressive part is the original color artwork that visually spotlights what the text imparts.
