Using its built-in Wi-Fi, you can connect the camera to social media sharing sites, email accounts, and even photography applications. This makes sharing any of the memories you capture with this 16MP camera's 10x f/3.2-5.8 lens easy and immediate. The S800c has about 2GB of internal memory, and it uses the Android v2.3 operating system. You don’t have to worry about being near a hotspot to get connected to any of the Android apps. This Nikon camera has access to more than 500,000 Android apps that are available through the Google Play store. You can access these apps directly from the camera's 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen. You can connect to Bluetooth in order to listen to games, music, and movies. Other than the power and shutter buttons, all other buttons used to operate the camera are on the touchscreen. This Nikon has 1080p full HD still and audio-video recording capability. It uses 10x optical zoom NIKKOR lenses with a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with ED glass for shooting highly detailed images. COOLPIX S800c has 16.0-megapixel resolution and a lens shift vibration reduction image stabilization system, which eliminates shaking and offers better image quality. The 819,000-dot OLED touchscreen monitor has an anti-reflection coating, so you can clearly search the menu and view full HD-quality pictures and movies in bright lighting.The COOLPIX S800c digital cameras have a built-in flash with a range from 0.5 to 5.6 meters. The minimum shutter speed is four seconds, and the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 second. The exposure mode is an auto program, and there are more than a dozen scene modes, including beach, food, night portrait, sports, and sunset. It has a white balance plus normal- and low-light autofocus. This Nikon has six continuous shooting modes that can take up to 25 shots in a row at a low or high speed depending on the conditions and the action you are capturing. You can create a photo album by saving photos as thumbnails in the camera’s memory, or you can use your favorite app to personalize your pictures. The COOLPIX GPS system also stores the locations where your pictures were taken.The small size of the Nikon COOLPIX S800c makes it a portable camera. It measures 1.1 inches in depth, 2.4 inches in height, and 4.4 inches in width. The Nikon COOLPIX branding is stamped on the front. This camera is the equivalent of having the features of a smartphone minus the ability to make phone calls. Compatible accessories include a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, an AC adapter charger, a USB cable, a NikonView NX 2 CD-ROM, and a strap. Other accessories are a carrying case, belt loop, new tilt pod, SDHC memory card, and 3-piece cleaning kit. There are also compatible waterproof cases available for this device.
