Der MC111CS ist ein Medienkonverter, der dazu konzipiert ist, 100BASE-FX-Fasermedien in 100Base-TX-Kupfermedien oder umgekehrt zu konvertieren. Der MC111CS verwendet WDM und benötigt nur ein Glasfaserkabel, um Daten zu senden und zu empfangen, was Ihnen die Hälfte der Kosten für Kabel einspart. Der MC111CS wurde gemäß dem IEEE802.3u 10/100Base-TX-Standard und dem 100Base-FX-Standard ausgelegt und für den Einsatz mit Singlemode-Glasfaserkabel und dem SC-Stecker vorgesehen. Der MC111CS unterstützt die langwellige (LX) Laser-Spezifikation bei einer Weiterleitungsrate, die der vollen Bandbreite entspricht. Er funktioniert bei 1550nm beim Senden von Daten und bei 1310nm beim Empfangen von Daten. Das bedeutet, dass das andere Endgerät, welches mit dem MC111CS zusammenwirken soll, bei 1310nm beim Senden von Daten und bei 1550nm beim Empfangen von Daten funktionieren muss. Ein weiterer Medienkonverter von TP-LINK, der mit dem MC111CS zusammenwirken könnte, wäre beispielsweise der MC112CS. Weitere Eigenschaften des Moduls sind: die Möglichkeit, das Gerät als selbstständiges Gerät (kein weiteres Gehäuse notwendig) oder mit dem 19-Zoll-Systemgehäuse von TP-LINK zu verwenden, Auto-MDI/MDIX für den Sende-Port, Autoabstimmung im Duplexmodus am Sende-Port und Status-LED an der Vorderseite. Der MC111CS sendet im Fibre-Optic-Long-Distance-Modus mithilfe eines Singlemode-Glasfaserkabels bis in eine Entfernung von 20km.Arbeitet nach den Standards 802.3u 10/100Base-TX, 100Base-FX. Link-Fault-Passthrough und Far-End-Fault minimieren rechtzeitig den Verlust, der durch einen Verbindungsfehler verursacht wird. Benutzt WDM und sendet und empfängt Daten über eine einzige Faser.

    After l purchased the item, realised the postage was a lot higher than I expected or wanted to pay, therefore I requested a refund, unfortunately I bought this on the weekend so nobody could respond until the Monday. Thankfully I got a immediate reply from them on that day stating that I had been issued a full refund for the order no issues whatsoever, very pleased with the service and that they were willing to refund me without any problems.
