This control system gives a you a seven-slot SLC chassis rack and the ability to mount the industrial control system on the back panel. With the 1746-A7 Rack/Chassis, you get four-, seven-, ten-, and 13-slot options. The best part is that you have the freedom to place the modules in any position you need. The maximum configuration of this control system is three chassis or 30 slots, and the dimensions of this control system are a height of 171mm and a depth of 145mm. The chassis contains copper and weighs 4.3 pounds. The controller platform for the Allen-Bradley 1746-A7 Rack/Chassis is SLC 500, and the manufacturer series is SLC/1746. Other SLC 500 modular chassis include the 1746-A4, the 1746-A10, and the 1746-A13. The Allen-Bradley 1746 modular chassis, made by Rockwell Automation, a leader in industrial automation, houses the processor or I/O adapter module and the I/O module. The chassis is back-panel mountable, making it perfect if you don’t have a lot of space for all your equipment. Accessories include chassis interconnect cables that connect the chassis to extend the back plane and slot fillers that protect any unused I/O slots from any debris from falling into them and causing a short circuit. The Allen-Bradley 1746-A7 Rack/Chassis comes with its own power supply. The maximum back plane current for the 1746-A7 is 5.1V DC@10A to 24V DC@2.88A.
