I bought it for competition to hold 2 magazines for a minute or 2 ten times a month. It works for that. Don't expect a mil' spec' web belt; it isn't that. But it does work for what I bought it for. The sliding "retainers" are super loose on the far too thin belt but a plier takes care of that. If you want a real mil' spec' web belt buy surplus.
