Tonight I installed two of them in some old RCA cabinets, in which the drivers sound clean and clear. The low end is articulate without being boomy or muddy. The midrange is accurate without being peaky or bland. And the highs are soaring without being harsh or overly bright. The overall sound is surprisingly good and full, and I don't need subwoofers or tweeters. This is a wonderful buy.
