The Glenn Miller Orchestra continues to tour the world an average of three hundred dates a year, every year since it was reformed in 1956. The current touring band is under the direction of Nick Hilscher. As you will see from the many comments on our facebook page, 'The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra,' the band is still incredibly popular and our audiences are knocked out by our performances each and every night. The bands phrasing and dynamic control has always been a big part of the Miller sound through the years and this group stands up to the same mark, if not better. Nick Hilscher is without a doubt one of the finest big band singers on the scene today as well as being a great front man and bandleader. Being a traditionalist, he has the band sounding like the original orchestra with great detail to the original articulations and tempos.     Good seller. Albums were shipped immediately and arrived in good time. They were packed pretty well. Great value for the 2 sealed records. But the what about me album has a crease in the left top corner which I don't really notice in the listing. But it's ok especially for the price. Pretty much as described. Easy to work with also.
