Product Information
Louis Armstrong was the hottest jazz musician of his time, and considered the first to really bring jazz into its own. Nicknamed "Satchmo" he is still celebrated today as a truly exceptional trumpeter and instinctive musician. This DVD compiles seven performances--culled from a 1967 performance for military personnel in Fort Hood, Texas, 1942 promotional clips produced for coin operated machines, and 1961 shorts produced by Goodyear.
