The material seems more like polyester than silk but the description just said it was presumably silk and for the price I paid I am not complaining. I'm happy to report that as of May 16th 2025 there was no extra import tariffs imposed on this shipment from Japan to USA (Nevada) via FedEx which I was worried about. Overall, I'm very happy and would order from the seller again.
