Product Information

Based on a manga and videogame, the action-packed anime series GUNGRAVE blends the science-fiction and organized crime genres into a supernatural tale of friendship, betrayal, and vengeance. Brandon Heat and Harry McDowell were best friends and partners in crime until Harry betrayed and killed Brandon in his quest to become leader of the crime syndicate Milleneon. When a doctor finds a way to bring the murdered youth back to life, Brandon--now known as Beyond the Grave--returns from the dead to pursue the destruction of Milleneon and bring vengeance upon the man who betrayed him. This first volume of episodes introduces the story through flashbacks of Brandon and Harry's early friendship and their eventual descent into enmity.
