Steven Soderbergh directs Channing Tatum in this drama following upstart male stripper Adam (Alex Pettyfer) who is mentored by a veteran dancer, Mike Lane, played by Tatum. Mike meets Adam after he was fired from his job and Mike convinces him to become a male stripper alongside him. The two grow closer and Mike is introduced to Adam sister who he gets a soft spot for despite having a reputation amongst his clients. Soon Mike discovers that the club he dances for is moving to Miami and he tries to get out of the life to follow his dreams.
