The outer box is scratched and misted and dusty, the gold top badly tarnished and the metal indents had worn off half-way round. It didn’t look new. The response I received was a diatribe rather than any apology or response to reconcile, preferring to detail how it should be repacked and returned for inspection to see if it was indeed their product before any thought to a refund. So we politely requested that the customer return the item with its warranty sticker attached to allow us to verify their claim.
