These drive DO NOT partition, or FORMAT in any OS. We tried to format them in both MS Windows 11 and Linux and neither system could detect them. these drives are rejects DO NOT BUY any of that style drives from them. You will regret it and will end up fighting to get your money back, because they make more excuses then 'Carter Has Liver Pills' (an old phrase)

I thought it was just a corrupted and/or bad sectors so I recopied the folders. It will copy successfully but after the following reboot of your computer it will only retain the folder name deleting ALL files inside the folder. I was great the first 3 hours of backing up folders but the following day the problem occurred repeatedly. You cannot even delete files on the drive..WRONG Initial positive
