    The diagonals are pretty rough with these, but if you take a paper hole punch and punch out 4 little circles from a piece of cardstock and place them in the circular indentations on the back of the dpad before you place the membrane, they work much better. The buttons themselves are good, its just the dpad that needs a simple mod. You dont need glue or anything, the paper circles are held in place by the membrane. The picture shows what to do.

    These do fit the original SNES controller, but are not as good as OEM. Price is cheap though, and they do work.

    The hole "guides" on the rubber pads for the XYAB buttons did not fit the controller at all, and are kinda just floating there, held in place with friction/pressure. The rubber pad for the D-pad strangely had some of it trimmed off, so it's not a full circle, which means it is also partially "floating" or slightly moveable which makes re-assembly slightly more challenging and I don't know if the pads will "slip" in the future after use. That said, it gave the buttons a nice clicky feel.
