However, upon receiving the parcel, I immediately took the stone to a reputable jeweler for authentication. To my dismay, it turned out to be glass, cleverly manipulated to mimic an emerald. The seller had even gone to the extent of creating an artificial crack to deceive unsuspecting buyers into believing it was genuine. This experience highlights the importance of verifying gemstone

I contacted this seller and they seemed to not really care I had been ripped off. The auction site clearly read Free Shipping! So I have reported this to ebay and filed a complaint on this seller.
